The program
Program name: Number Withheld interactive stories.
Number Withheld sells mystery stories played by text message. When you book, join or redeem a story and tick the box to get it by text, fictional characters text the mobile number you gave us while your story runs. Each character texts from its own number, so you can tell who's who. We also text you to confirm your number, and once at the end to ask what you thought.
We only text numbers whose owner has ticked the box and then replied YES to our confirmation text. We never send marketing texts.
How often
Message frequency varies with the story: usually a few texts a day while it runs, more during a live finale, and none after it ends. Each story's page says how long it lasts.
Costs
Msg & data rates may apply. Our numbers are ordinary US mobile numbers, never premium rate. We never charge you for a text.

Text HELP to any of our numbers for help, or email help@numberwithheld.com.
Text STOP to any of our numbers, a character's or ours, to stop every text from all our numbers at once. You'll get one text confirming it, and nothing after. Text START to any of our numbers to undo it.
Text PAUSE to hold a story and RESUME to carry on.
The small print
You must be 18 or over and the account holder for the phone, or have their permission.
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Characters will never ask you for money, bank details, passwords or codes. If a message does, it isn't from us.
