Someone's about to text you.

Mysteries you play on your own phone, over a few days. Characters text you, email you documents and send you to websites that look like the real thing. You dig, you decide who to believe, and you live with the ending.

Sorry to message out of the blue.
Something has happened, and you're the only one who wasn't there.
I can't say much by text. I'll send you what I've got.
Are you in?
We will never ask you for money.Or bank details, passwords or codes. Not in the story, not ever. If a message asks, it isn't us.

It plays out like real life.

No app and no box. You give us a US mobile number and an email address, choose when it starts, and carry on with your week. The story finds you.

This is a weekend of Dunmorrow, as it lands on one player's phone.

One live night. At the end, everyone is in the same chat at the same time. Make your case, then vote.

Questions people text us.

Do I need an app?
No. Everything arrives by ordinary text message and email, on the phone you already have.
How much time does it take?
About six hours over a few days, in short bursts. You can reply straight away or hours later. The story waits for you.
What if I'm busy, or asleep?
Text PAUSE to any character and the story holds until you text RESUME. Unless you say otherwise, nobody texts you between 9pm and 8am.
Is anyone real?
The characters are written by us and run by our story engine, which can answer what you actually say. A real person watches every story and can step in.
Does it cost anything to reply?
Only what your network charges for a normal text, which is nothing on most plans. Our numbers are ordinary US mobile numbers, never premium rate.
Can I play with friends who live elsewhere?
Yes. Group stories happen on everyone's own phone, so your group can be anywhere in the US.
What happens to my number afterwards?
Characters stop texting when the story ends. We never use your number for marketing. You can delete everything from My stories.
Can I give it as a gift?
Yes. Gifts never expire, and they can swap it for any other story for the same number of players.
